Haritametod is a type of notebook commonly used in schools. By selecting this name for our studio, we wanted to celebrate the first medium where every idea starts to become a reality: the paper. That particular type of notebook is mainly used for technical drawings, so “haritametod” (which is a compound word) actually means “map” and “method”. Inspired by this fact, we used illustrations of map-making tools from a 19th century science book as the corporate pattern. The corporate colours of red and black was chosen because of their strong contrast and attention grabbing nature.
